Before I begin, let me say up front that Jesus loves everybody…and I mean everybody! I’m not trying to be politically correct here at all. For those that know me personally, they’d be the first ones to tell you that I am one to speak my mind. I’ve also been told that I am brutally honest. If you want a real opinion, yet you don’t want your feelings hurt, well then, I’m not the person you should be asking.
To the point, as I just stated, Jesus loves everybody! If you don’t believe that, well, you obviously never truly read the Bible and why Jesus came down to earth. But, that’s an article for another time. Here it is in a nutshell. John 3:16-17 says:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Pablo, what are you trying to say? That may be the question some people have at this very moment. What I'm saying is that we (the body of Christ - the Church) must see everyone, including those in the LGBTQ community as Jesus sees them, as we once were, lost. We must pray that the Lord would reach them where they’re at. That the Holy Spirit would truly move within the hearts and minds of the LGBTQ community to convict them of their deep seated need for the Lord!
In God’s eyes, sin is sin. That’s what separates us from Him.
Now, sin has many gruesome faces. Paul listed some in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10:
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals (catamite), nor sodomites (male homosexuals), nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Sadly though, in the month of June, we see one particular sin up close and personal, on display for all the world to see—that of homosexuality.
The month of June. What can I say? Most that live here in the USA know exactly what June is—or what it’s become. It’s become the month of “Pride”. June used to signal the advent of summer for those of us Stateside. It was a month that one would look to as a springboard for summer days, long evenings, warm nights, barbecues with family and friends, family vacations and the long needed break for students from the rigors of academia. But June’s been highjacked!
Everything that ‘Pride’ month stands for is an affront to God, His values and His creation. It’s literally shaking one’s fist in the face God in arrogance and an anti-God disdain for His statutes, His attributes, His commands, His love and sacrifice. It’s a month wherein many people give God the middle finger and engage in willful perversion and deviancy as though it’s a moral right, all the while excusing it by calling it “love”. Non-sense I say! Solomon had something to say about pride in Proverbs 16:18:
“Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” (AMP)
STONEWALL AND BEYOND
Back on June 28th of 1969, a gay bar by the name of Stonewall Inn was raided by some 9 New York policmen. The employees at the time were arrested for allegedly selling alcohol without a liquor license. Some of the “patrons” were also rounded up and hauled away in the police ‘wagon’. However, those onlookers outside the Inn weren’t at all passive as they had been in times past when police would raid these gay bars. The crowd began to hurl bottles and other debris at the policemen, so much so that the cops called for back up, retreated back into the Stonewall Inn and barricaded themselves there. The barricade was breached multiple times and the Inn was set on fire by those rioting. The Inn would have been burned to the ground with the officers in it had back up not showed up in time to extinguish the flames and disperse the crowd. The riots lasted another 4-5 days.
This exchange became known as the Stonewall Riots. It became the springboard for the resistance of the gay community. The “resistance” spread like wildfire. Fast forward to the year 1999, Bill Clinton’s second term as President. In the month of June 1999, then President Clinton, issued Presidential Proclamation 7203 wherein he proclaimed June 1999 as gay and lesbian pride month. This is some of what he said then:
“I encourage all Americans to observe this month with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities that celebrate our diversity, and to remember throughout the year the gay and lesbian Americans whose many and varied contributions have enriched our national life.”
That same year (1999) the National Park Service (NPS) placed the Stonewall Inn on their National Register of Historic Places. And in 2016, then President Barack Hussein Obama designated the Stonewall Inn (the birth of the Gay Pride Movement) a national monument. Yes, you read that correctly. It was placed on the US of A’s National Monuments list.
I’ve always said that sin which goes unabated, unchanged and unrelenting only gets worse and worse. It becomes more aggressive in its desire. It will destroy whatever is in its path no matter the consequence. That is where we are in America when it comes to sexual sin and deviancy that has gone not only unchecked, but has been encouraged and applauded.
A society that continues down this path is headed on a one way track for destruction. Much can be said about Sodom and Gomorrah or the implosion of the Roman Empire in regards to their degradation and eventual destruction, but I will not get into that topic right now. Needless to say that our country became the exporter of filth to the entire world on multiple fronts and this is just one of them. The “pride” movement went global after the Stonewall Inn riots. I truly believe that this incident emboldened the gay movement all around the globe. And where did it start? Of course, here in America.
GOD’S ORDER
Sex (within the confines of marriage) is amazing! He blesses it and protects the marriage bed when done His way. God ordained it and designed it that way; however, anything outside His perfect boundaries is not blessed by God. But even if we take it a step further, anything that goes beyond God’s physiological design for a man and a woman is an aberration of nature, the Bible calls it an abomination. Now, please don’t take my word for it. In Leviticus 18, God outlined, for the Israelites, that which He considered to be forbidden sexual practices. Take a look at what scripture says in Leviticus 18:22:
“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” (NKJV)
And the New Living Translation spells it out crystal clear like so:
“Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. (NLT)
How many of us have heard the saying that God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve? Gods order of creation is perfect! He made NO mistakes when designing the male anatomy to go in step with the female anatomy—I think you get my point…I hope. Like I said earlier, sin that goes unbridled is very much akin to a bull in a china shop—it wrecks everything! This is what we are witnessing right before our very eyes. And it will only get worse. It’s a perversion of God’s perfect design for His creation.

What you see is the product of operating outside of God’s perfect order.
Unfortunately, June has been hijacked. It’s been decades in the making. This did not happen overnight. Remember family that our battle is not against flesh and blood as Paul said in his letter to the Ephesians 6:12. It’s a spiritual battle—and it’s intensifying by the minute. The sad part about this whole debacle is that as Pastor Ken said in the podcast that the victim often times becomes the victimizer. It’s a vicious circle and the one behind all this perversion of God’s order is none other than satan himself.
MY ADIVCE
Let me bring it in for a landing. As I said in the beginning, God loves everybody and does not want anyone to perish as seen in 2 Peter 3:9:
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (NIV)
Way too many people use the following quote (which is largely credited to St. Francis of Assisi though in all do honesty it can’t be truly verified as his) as a cop-out:
“Preach the Gospel at all times and if necessary use words.”
My honest opinion? It’s the dumbest thing I ever heard. I get the point “whoever” was trying to make. But, in the end, WE MUST USE WORDS…HIS WORDS! To say that we as believers should only live our lives without verbally sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ is an affront to the Gospel itself.
Listen family, the homosexual community is just as much in need of Jesus as you and I are and once were before we became believers in Him. We were just as dead in our trespasses as they currently are. We were alienated as are they. But, Jesus died for them and us alike. His blood is perfectly capable of saving a homosexual as much as a fornicating, adulterating, gossiping, lying, cheating heterosexual.
What I’m trying to say is that we must love the sinner, not the sin. We must shine our light for Him no matter who it is we are asked to by the Holy Spirit. The work of salvation is His, the work of sharing and sowing the seeds is ours.
I believe we’ve hit V1 and are about to ‘rotate’. To all of my aviation friends, you know exactly what I’m referencing. V1 is the speed an aircraft needs to hit in order to ‘rotate’…that is, takeoff. The world has hit V1. We are now committed to the events the Bible talks about will happen once the rapture of the church takes place. These events will only intensify as we near the day of the “arrebatamiento”, that’s Spanish for ‘caught up’—aka: The Rapture!
