So, last Thursday, Southern California got much, much needed rain. Now, I don’t mean to complain about it in that I know just how desperately we need it, but boy, it turned out to be a doozy. That sneaky little water found its way into the studio, and since it didn’t want to be noticed, it tried to “hide” under the flooring. Of course, as we all know, water and flooring are not the best of friends. Talk about throwing a “little” wrench into things. But God!
Needless to say, I will be out of the “studio” for a bit of time. I explain it all in the video. I know this didn’t catch the Lord by surprise, but it did a good job at catching me off guard though. So, I guess we need to expect the unexpected—which isn’t fun at all, at least not for me. Though I can’t see what the Lord is doing through this, I know that He’s working, and, I need to trust His ways! As He says in Isaiah 55:8-9:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (NKJV)
The content will continue, but, it might be delivered in unexpected ways…like on the inside of a storage pod. To quote one of the 80’s best songs by Steve Windwood:
“When life is too much, roll with it, baby
Don't stop and lose your touch, oh no, baby
Hard times knocking on your door
I'll tell them you ain't there no more
Get on through it, roll with it, baby”
I don’t know why, but, hearing the song is so much better than just reading it! Anyways, I hope and pray y’all are doing well. And remember that as we await His return, not only should we be busy sharing the Gospel, but we gotta “Roll With It Baby!”.
