One must admit that Trump 1.0—number 45—is much different than that of Trump 2.0—number 47. Yet I still wonder if those that he’s surrounded himself with are “loyal” to him, America, the American people or their own self-interests. If I had to guess, I’d go with the latter. In the end, what we’re truly witnessing are events that lead us ever so much closer to the day when the bride of Christ will be called out of this world via the rapture.
Not only is the geopolitical climate “heating up”—as it’s been for some years now—but the technological landscape is changing faster than a politician changes his mind. The advent of A.I. has brought about changes in just about all areas of everyday life as well as within Government. What does this mean? How will (not how can) this change things? I know that many out there in the ‘end-times Bible prophecy’ camp are talking about this more than I care to listen to, but the fact remains that the infrastructure utilized during Daniel’s 70th week is being set-up right before our very eyes!
As much as each of us might be tempted to get anxious, as I know I have at times, we must remember that none of this is catching our Lord by surprise—none of it! We must rest assured that He has our best interest in mind. He knows the end from the begining! Though we cannot know—nor should we even try and guess—the day of the rapture, we can know without a doubt that we are truly living in the days leading up to that awesome day wherein our gracious Heavenly Father will take His own out of this world before all hell breaks loose.
In the meantime, we must draw strength from His promises that are found all throughout His Word. Here’s how to do just that.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night (you shall be constantly in it), that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” —Joshua 1:8-9 (NKJV)
