The saying goes something along the lines of: "The best offense is a good defense." This is true not only in the physical world, but also in the spiritual world!
Countermeasures have been used for decades to try to deter and counteract the enemy's attacks. It's a fact of life that those with evil and nefarious intentions will try anything and everything in their "arsenal" in an effort to undermine and eliminate those who stand in opposition to their evil intentions. When it comes to the invisible battle that is raging all around us, the same thing is true - but with eternal implications.
My hope is that some or all of these spiritual "countermeasures" will be of help to you in your battle against the enemy. I've since had some revisions and additions to the original "countermeasures" I had over two years ago. These are definitely countermeasures I need to keep reminding myself of and thinking about everyday.
Please know that my heart is never to preach or talk at anyone, but rather to have a conversation with you, knowing that I am really preaching to the proverbial choir, i.e. myself.
I had long forgotten these countermeasures, and the Lord was gracious enough (as He always is) to remind me of them. So I decided to expand on them and share them with you once again. I pray that you will be blessed by the content and what I have to share, always knowing that it's from my heart to yours.
