Now that the elections are finally over, we can get a glimpse as to what direction our country will be headed in. With that said, the question I’ve asked myself as of late is: What will a Trump presidency look like for the church? And, will the church embrace the grace that God extended to us and be a bold witness to a dark world?
I’ve been told by many that I have a tendency of being brutally honest when it comes to what I think, and, I’ll own it. That being the case, I’ll admit that I am skeptical about the church’s embrace of God’s period of reprieve. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not encouraging the body of Christ to breathe a sigh of relief and then kick back and relax. On the contrary. What I’m saying is to breath a deep sigh of relief because we came fractions of an inch from the embrace of socialism and the certain removal of many freedoms we hold dear, especially that of freedom of expression and/or speech. But, once you’re done enjoying that deep sigh of relief, we MUST embrace the blessing of reprieve and get busy for Jesus!
The dust has settled, a bit, and the cabinet picks rolled out faster than grass through a goose. Trump is going to hit the ground running. I belive it’s going to be a “wild” ride for the next four years and we must be ready at all time for the possibility that the last trumpet (notice I didn’t say “trump”) will sound and we, true believers in Jesus Christ will be ushered out of this mess. What a glorious time that will be. But until that time comes, we must remain vigilant and ready at all times. We must continue in the fight for righteousness sake. We must be bold witnesses for Christ and continue to be salt and light.
I know that there will be many that disagree with what I have to say in this podcast, but at the end of the day, I have to must stay true to what the Holy Spirit has laid on my heart to share.
I believe that this could be the church’s finest moment and I pray that it will. I hope to see pockets of revival break out in the west and throughout the world. That family remains to be seen. May we come boldly before the throne of Almighty God and ask Him to first and foremost forgive our indifference and apathy in the body and to embolden us for His name sake.
😁Have A Nice Day!👍🏻
GOSPEL CARDS: A HELPFUL TOOL
If you’d like to get your hands on the gospel cards that I produce, please go HEREand fill out the form and I let me know how many you’d like for free. Here’s the catch, the only thing I’d ask is that you’d cover the shipping cost.
If you feel led to donate beyond the cost of shipping to help offset the costs of production (printing, ink, labels, etc.), that’d be amazing. However, if you cannot, I’ll still send them your way. You can donate/support by following the link below:
